Irina Saghyan
“I’ve got so much to say…”

Irina Saghyan’s still-lives and landscapes are notable for their unique cheerfulness and womanly delicacy. There is a mysterious tranquility in her canvases and a harmonic unity in her decorative feeling for color. Working straight in planner, the author frankly passes the fresh breath and brisk colors of nature on the canvas, especially in landscapes of her home nature, where the “well known” angles of nature are represented newly through the eyes of the author. These are immediate reflections of the emotions gained from nature, which in different situations are close and relative for the author’s mood and thoughts. The painter’s image is disclosed mostly in her paintings exposing flower, in which, as in the rest of her works, the essential attribute is color: it is color that outlines the pictures emotionally and dictates their content. Her canvases are penetrated with warm atmosphere and optimistic mood, which are assigned by vivid colors and by gentle and trembling linear images.

Generally Irina’s art seems to be a call to sense, to reveal once again nature’s power and secluded charm, to get one more step closer to the beauty, to the “perfect”, which undoubtedly should be sought in nature.
